Xel-Ha

No long post tonight, I am about to fall over. But...here is a page that I made about my trip to Xel-Ha. All the components in this page are in the June Color Challenge kit that I should have finished by Monday, that is if I make it through the weekend. I have front row seats for George Jones Saturday night, so that means the weekend is pretty much shot. Maybe someday soon things will get back to normal; nahhh...I have never been normal! Really Quick Page

This is a fast page I threw together last night before I collapsed. Goodness Gerty, I need a vacation to get over the vacation! ROTFLMAO!!! You can add a title in the top corner, use two photos, or one photo and tuck some paper in the other frame for journaling. Password is: beach I am going to try and find the time to put together a slide show. I just need a few 36 hour days and maybe I could make some progress on all the stuff I have to do! At least I have one page done. Now all I have to do is wade through the other three hundred pics. The underwater photos did not turn out well, there were a bunch of Gumbies that had the silt stirred up, so the vis sucked. I hope that by tomorrow I can get back on schedule with posting, but please don't hold your breath! BTW, thanks so much for all the wonderful comments regarding "Dolphin Nana". It was truly a very special, emotional experience for me. I bawled like a baby the first time he swam up and let me touch him!

I'm Back!

At long last, here is the rest of Cancun Dreams. There are lots of swirly doodles,strings, frames (one wrapped) frame wraps, two flowers, a starfish and a shell. These are probably the crappiest of my crappy previews, but hey...I did these on the fly. Shadows are in the previews only. Now here's the story...hardly any of this goes with my pictures! I'm gonna' start a new kit with more blues and greens. I am particularly proud of the hanging frame, it is suspended by eyelets and string. The starfish is pretty cool too. Password is: finally I left everything in a large size, so you can adjust to size without loss of quality. It all really does look better than the previews. Anyway, no big long post today, I am having severe mango daquiri withdrawal, and I still have to wash loads of clothes and get ready to hit the grindstone tomorrow. Posting here from the Cancun Airport! I am so sorry to leave ya'll hanging, but things just got away from me at the last minute! You know what they say (just who are THEY anyway?) about the best laid plans. I had planned to make some posts in advance but Hellmart got in the way! ROTFLPIMP!!! I just know that ya'll are real surprised by today's offering! ROTFLPIMP!!! Have I mentioned that I'm going to Cancun? HeHeHe! I've been working on some stuff to use to scrap the hundreds of pics I am sure to take. Here are the papers. I threw in a torn corner of the flowered paper. I still have to get the elements packed up and the crappy preview done, I'll try to get it done tonight. I made a really cool starfish that I think you'll like. I split this download into two parts, it was a 90mb file! Password is: ready I am also working on the DSO June Color Challenge. Kim really came up with a great swatch for this month! As soon as I get my desk cleared (that's a lie, it will still have piles of paper, just the important stuff will be done) I'm off to... you guessed it...HELLMART! Yeah, I have to pick up the rechargeable batteries that WERE NOT included in the digi video cam that I bought on last nights trip. I believe there is a conspiracy at work here.

I have always loved this shot of Matt and Wyatt, I had just never got around to scrapping it. I used the "See Clearly" alpha from Misty Cato. This is another page that you can add your own touch to. I am really leaning towards simple these days, but at least I'm still getting pages done! Today is 'gonna be crazy, there is way too much to do and not enough time in the day. Still have to find that danged camera and I am sure that there is a last minute trip to Hellmart in my future. I am SOO looking forward to those margaritas!

Trick Shot

Wyatt was showing me all his new tricks with his laser gun. I just loved the over the shoulder shot. He was so serious. The next couple of days are gonna be wild, I spent the weekend getting everything together, but haven't finished packing. Today is tanning and mani-pedi day. Tomorrow I have to go try to find an underwater digital camera, I just decided I want one and there isn't one to be had in this podunk town. Nothing like waiting till the last minute!
